This is a big one - The Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is a multi-day, multi-venue extravaganza with something for almost everybody, from champagne and caviar at L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills to bar-b-que and beer on the Santa Monica Pier. Fun events, great chefs and all to benefit St. Vincent Meals on Wheels. The whole thing kicks off Thursday night with a red carpet premier and the events run through Sunday. Tickets are on sale now. A few events are sold out but tickets remain to some really terrific experiences. Click here for all event information and tickets.
And starting tonight - it's Beer Week in LA. This is another one of those "weeks" that are actually 2 (remember the second week of Dine LA restaurant week(s) is on now so get yourself through [honestly are things not moving at a break-neck pace?] by planning a nice dinner for a great price on Wednesday or Thursday why don't you?) Wait, I'm distracted..... Oh, yes - Beer Week. Ok, it's Beer Week(s) and there are special, beer oriented (i.e. meet the brewer, tastings) events all over town. Click here for the schedule and take turns being the designated driver, will you? And look for the big, culminating Beer Festival on October 23rd at Union Station.
